On Saturday, we painted our bedroom (Kevin and mine's) We got a new quilt a couple of months ago and decided we were finally going to get rid of our white walls (this is the first time we have ever not had white walls in our room - it is always the last to be decorated-it isn't seen by a lot of people so it never seemed a priority -but we decided after 15 years of marriage we deserve some color in our room!) The walls are a light blue that almost seems purple in the right light, the ceiling is orangey-pink (don't remember the official name but it reminds us of the orangey-pink in a sunset) and the trim is a grey/brown called "castle path"
We really like it. I just need to get some new window treatments - the old ones don't match. (If you want a before picture, just imagine everything painted white - but kind of streaky because the previous owners only did one coat and you could almost see the old color through the paint)

You know you've got a good marriage when your husband will let you paint your room pink... We're not quite there yet... (though someday! shh... don't tell Scott)
