Tyler's Baptism...

Tyler had a very memorable baptism on Saturday.  First, we were running a little late. Aunt WendyKay gave an awesome talk on Baptism. Then Tyler and Dad went into the font. After the baptism, they headed back to change, and Morgan came over to me and asked a question about the way the baptism was performed made us realize the baptism had been done incorrectly.  Grandpa Jim went back to tell Kevin and Tyler that they would need to put back on thier wet clothes and come back out to re-do the baptism.  They came back out, got back in the font, with Tyler shaking like a leaf. It then took 3 more tries to get him baptized, since his foot kept popping up.  The poor thing was shaking so bad, and turning blue. But he stuck with it, without any whining or tears.  We were so impressed, and proud of our little man.  Grandma Jan gave a great talk on the Holy Ghost and had Grandpa Jim explain why it is so important that this and other gospel ordinances are done correctly with the right authority. It was great teaching moment, that I'm glad didn't get passed by.

It was a great day! So happy to be a part of it! Tyler really was a trooper! Definitely one of those experiences that, when retold, will always start and end with--"Remember when.....That was awesome!"

Wow, that was a great catch for Morgon to make. I had to be baptised three times because my foot kept popping up too. My Dad finally just stood on my feet the last time.

I feel so out-of-touch! That shocked me to see Tyler's baptism pictures! I guess my family isn't the only one getting older while we are apart. :)
